Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. is recalling 01 Goldwing Motorcycle of December 2013 model. The Frontal airbag inflator in motorcycle may rapture when deploying during a crash. The potential for such rupture may occur in the subject airbag inflator after prolonged exposure to persistent condition of high absolute humidity.

In India, we have 01 affected unit as per the details mentioned below :

Customer of this vehicle is requested to contact HMSI Wing World (to below mentioned contact person for repair). HMSI will replace the Airbag module free of charge.

Recently in few units of AVIATOR, ACTIVA 125, GRAZIA and CB SHINE, Honda has identified a suspected quality issue in the ‘Front Brake Master Cylinder’ which may cause difficulty in rotation of the front wheel and may further lead to wheel jam in extreme situation.

With customer safety and comfort its utmost priority, Honda as a pre-cautionary measure, will voluntarily inspect these models. HMSI will replace the suspected part, if required, on Free of Cost basis irrespective to the affected vehicles warranty status.

To avoid any inconvenience you are hereby requested to make an advance booking at the service station for your vehicle’s inspection.
