Globally, Road Safety Promotion is one of Honda's top priorities worldwide since 1970. Under the "People Come First" philosophy, Safety is an integral part of all Honda's business activities across 36 countries. |
In India too, Honda has been promoting Safe Riding an everyday habit of all 2Wheeler riders since 2001. In 2012, Honda adopted its first traffic park in Jaipur. This was soon followed by Delhi. Overall, over 53,000 people have been trained at the two parks. Overwhelmed by the deep appreciation of citizens at both the traffic parks, Honda has today inaugurated new traffic parks in Odisha at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. |
What's new at Traffic Park? |
At both the traffic parks, Honda is set to promote Road Safety in a specially designed and safe environment. |
At the traffic park, children from 5-8 years of age will be encouraged to learn 'Safety with Fun' in Primary School activity. Honda's specially imported CRF 50 model will help young minds from 9-12 years understand the importance of safety riding through practical riding experience. |
Theoretical sessions & riding trainers (also present at all Honda dealerships across India) will aid young new riders above 18 years of age to experience 100+ possible dangers on road. This virtual experience will increase their ability to predict and react to traffic hazards by creating awareness & knowledge about potential risks and how to deal with them in safe manner. |
With Honda's unique training program, females can also now realize their dream of becoming independent and learning how to correctly ride a two-wheeler – that too in a single day! |
