Honda conducts special activity at Tapukara under it’s CSR Initiative

Tapukara, Feb 24, 2014: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) the fastest growing 2wheeler company in India recently organized a special activity under its CSR initiative at Govt. Girls Sr. Secondary School located at Tapukara Distt. Rajasthan.
Under this initiative, Honda distributed essential educational materials including black boards, Tatpatti/Durries, uniforms, woolens &school bags to around 300 students.
This event was held in the august presence of Mr. Harbhajan Singh- Vice President, General & Corporate Affairs, Mr.Pradip Kumar Jain- Divisional Head, General Affairs,Mr.Naveen Sharma - Divisional Head – Associate & Social Relations, Mr. Sunil Kumar Dahiya - Department Head, Industrial Relations, Ms.Gurcharan Kaur- Principal, Govt Girls Sr. Sec. School, Mr. Naresh Jangid, Social Worker and local residents.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Harbhajan Singh, Vice President, General & Corporate Affairs said, “Education is the key to a successful life. In our capacity, we are keen to develop an effective and inclusive society by fulfilling the basic necessities in and around the local areas where HMSI operates. This is a small initiative towards uplifting the local community. In future also, Honda shall continue to contribute towards enriching the lives in local area of our operations to make an overall positive impact.”
The school and local authorities recognized the efforts of Honda towards the betterment of the school and community at large.
