IDEMITSU Honda Racing India Riders Show Strong Determination in Race 1 of Round 4 of 2024 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in Indonesia
• Race 1 results of Asia Production 250cc class (AP250 class): Kavin Quintal and Mohsin Paramban finished today's race at 19th and 22nd position respectively.
Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit (Indonesia), 27 July 2024: The riders of the IDEMITSU Honda Racing India team remained strong in Race 1 of Round 4 of the 2024 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in Indonesia. The Indian duo, Kavin Quintal and Mohsin Paramban, completed today's race with determination and consistency.
Starting strong from the 27th position on the grid, Chennai's 19-year-old rising star, Kavin Quintal, swiftly moved up after the first lap and maintained consistency throughout the race. Leveraging his experience and executing strategic moves effectively, he gave tough competition to international riders and continued to elevate his performance despite an injury. He finished the race at 19th position with a total time of 18:37.226.
Kavin's teammate, Mohsin Paramban from Mallapuram, started today's race from 21st on the grid and delivered a good performance on international soil. He maintained consistency throughout the race, navigating the track and crossing the chequered flag at 22nd position with a total time of 18:44.784.
Both riders from Honda Racing India team showcased true dedication with their performance, but unfortunately, they could not secure any points for the team in Race 1 of Round 4.

About 2024 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC): The 27th edition of FIM Asia Road Racing Championship is Asia's most competitive motorcycle road racing championship, held since 1996. The 2024 season will have six rounds beginning with the official test and season opener at the Chang International Circuit (Thailand) from 15-17 March 2024. In April 2024, the Zhuhai International Circuit, China hosted the second leg and in June Round 3 was held at the Mobility Resort Motegi, Japan. The host venue for Round 4 is Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia. Round 5 and 6 will be held in September and December in Malaysia, and Thailand, respectively.
