New Delhi, January 5, 2012: Strengthening its market leadership position in the 125cc motorcycle segment; Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Ltd (HMSI) has unveiled the refreshed CB Shine. The new CB Shine now comes with a new colour and stylish body graphics in all colours.

Honda entered the 125cc motorcycle segment with the introduction of CB Shine in 2006. The motorcycle was well appreciated as a model that delivered performance and mileage and was also decently stylish. Since then, the Company has been acknowledging customer needs by introducing new changes in the model from time to time.

CB Shine now comes in 2 new colours - Force Silver Metallic and Monsoon Grey Metallic. CB Shine will continue to be available in its popular existing colours - Black, Geny Grey Metallic and Rebel Red Metallic. Further upping the style quotient of the bike, the new CB Shine now comes with new standout graphics on the fuel tank.

CB Shine’s peak power of 10.3 BHP and Mileage of 65 km/ltr provide out-of-class engine performance with great initial and overtaking acceleration. With its added capability to develop high torque at low rpm, the Honda engine ensures smooth ride while optional disc brakes deliver greater braking confidence and controlled riding.

Upping the comfort and convenience for the rider are features like Maintenance-Free battery (which ensures hassle-free ride and lesser maintenance cost), the Viscous Air Filter (which reduces overall maintenance cost) and Honda patented Tuff-up Tubes (which reduces chances of immediate deflation).

Together enhancing the premium image of the bike are the handle bar weights, vivid body colour grab, stylish mirror design, all black engine and the premium 3D Honda Wing mark placed on the fuel tank of CB Shine.

The Ergo–tech design of CB Shine takes due care of rider’s comfort while providing easy handling and superior riding comfort. The bike’s 3 step spring loaded hydraulic shockers give superior shock absorption capability while the light weight, advanced design diamond frame distributes load evenly to provide extra stability to the rider.

In its refreshed avatar, the new CB Shine will soon be available in 3 variants: Spoke wheels with drum brakes (with tuff-up tube), Alloy wheels with drum brakes (with tubeless tyres) and Alloy wheels with Disc brakes (with tubeless tyres).
