Healthcare to Hut - To build a robust EMR Collection & telemedicine Initiative
Honda started a revolutionary step bringing healthcare to the villages with an innovative testing device named Swasthyslate, this health activity concentrate on the creation of a patient’s history and chemistry for treatment to be made possible and then connect to Specialists living far away from the patients. So the project uses Motorcycle borne paramedics armed with Tablets and Swasthya Slate (the low cost powerful device that allows Android Tablets & Phones to conduct 33 diagnostic tests like blood pressure, Blood group, Blood Hemoglobin, pulse oxymetry, BMI, thyroid , Malaria , Syphilis & ECG etc. on the mobile device). The results are then uploaded to the Cloud. Back-end data mining will segregate the information to UIDAI (Unique Identity Authority of India) and those not registered will have it in Cloud based vaults. The former now gets the information to store against the person’s records. (In our last filed Patent the UIDAI collaborated). Those who need immediate attention are now put on a call to the Specialists in a city location on the Tablet. Wherever the mobile signal doesn’t allow for this, a recording is made of the patient complaints, shared later in signal positive areas and the findings and the diagnosis communicated physically by the Paramedic rider.
